Who We Are
Our credit union opened its doors in 1960 as St. Joseph’s Hospital Federal Credit Union, with the purpose of providing financial services to the employees of the hospital. As St. Joseph’s Hospital expanded, our credit union also grew to meet the needs of the new team members, opening branches at the North and South hospital locations, as well as at John Knox Village (now Concordia Village of Tampa). In December 2016, St. Joseph’s Hospital FCU acquired West Coast Federal Credit Union and their locations in Pinellas and Pasco counties. This acquisition allowed us to help even more BayCare team members pursue and achieve their financial goals and dreams. St. Joseph’s Hospital Federal Credit Union is now FiCare, Healthcare’s Financial Partner. Our name has changed, but our passion for promoting financial wellness is stronger than ever.
FiCare is the credit union tailor made for healthcare professionals. As a member of the FiCare family, you can be confident you will receive the financial products, education, and expertise you want and deserve. You will experience our attentive and personalized service. As our name says, we truly care about our members and their financial health.
