Yes. Your savings account is automatically set up to transfer money to your checking to cover an overdraft. You can choose additional trailers to provide overdraft protection for the checking. FiCare also offers Overdraft Protection Courtesy Pay. When you opt in, you allow FiCare to pay items for which you have insufficient funds. Online you can see the date the check cleared and the check number. We give you a check register to help you record the payees. You may request a front and back copy of a check for $5.

For the first 30 days after you open a new account, FiCare will hold all checks (except BayCare payroll checks) for nine business days. Checks deposited through Mobile Deposit are held for two business days. We review all other checks on a case-by-case basis to determine if a hold is necessary.
